The United Arab Emirates has announced that six new nationalities will benefit from its visa-on-arrival programme.
Eligible nationals of Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Kenya and South Africa will now be granted a visa-on-arrival when travelling to Dubai and the six other emirates.
The expanded visit visa programme will allow those who hold ordinary passports, along with their accompanying family members, to travel without a pre-arranged visa, provided they hold a valid residence permit issued by any of the following countries:
Australia
Canada
European Union member states
Japan
New Zealand
Singapore
South Korea
United Kingdom
USA
Those who are eligible will be able to stay for either 14 days, 28 days or 60 days under the new rules.
