Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on this website, what each of them does, who sets them, and how you can control them.

Last updated: 10 July 2026

1. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences over time, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies — such as local storage and pixels — and refer to all of them as "cookies" in this policy.

Cookies set by dubaivisitvisaonline.com are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another domain — for example our analytics provider — are called third-party cookies.

2. Cookies We Use

Consent-based

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell cookie data to advertising networks.

3. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These are required for the website to work and cannot be switched off in our systems. They do not store personally identifiable marketing information. They are used to authenticate you, protect against fraud and cross-site request forgery, and preserve the answers you have entered in an application form.

If you block these cookies in your browser, core parts of the site — including signing in and the visa application form — will not function.

4. Analytics Cookies and Third Parties

We use Google Analytics, provided by Google, to understand how our website is used in aggregate. It tells us things like which pages are popular, how visitors found us, and at which step applicants abandon the form — which we use to fix problems and improve the service.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies and may process data, including a truncated IP address, outside the UAE. We do not send your passport data, identity documents or application contents to Google. Its use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Other third parties may set cookies where their services are used on the site — for example our payment processor during checkout (to secure the transaction and prevent fraud) and any embedded content. Those cookies are governed by the relevant provider's own policy.

5. How to Control Cookies

Browser settings

Every major browser lets you see the cookies stored, delete them, block third-party cookies, or block cookies entirely. These controls are usually found under Settings → Privacy. Deleting cookies removes your preferences and signs you out; blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the application form.

Opting out of analytics

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Withdrawing consent

Where we rely on your consent for non-essential cookies, you may withdraw it at any time by clearing cookies for this site in your browser and declining when next prompted. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew.

Do Not Track

There is no consistent industry standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, so our website does not currently respond to them. You can still control cookies using the methods above.

6. Retention

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for the periods indicated in the table above, or until you delete them. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form in line with our provider's configured retention settings.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy when we add, remove or change the technologies we use. The current version is always published here and the "Last updated" date will change. Please check back periodically.

8. More Information

For details of how we handle the personal data collected through cookies — including the legal bases we rely on and the rights you can exercise — see our Privacy Policy.
