Dubai Miracle Garden: 3 Simple Family Visa Rules, Easy Trip

The flowers are back. Dubai Miracle Garden opened its 15th season on Thursday 8 October 2026, and it stays open until Monday 31 May 2027. That long season is why so many families ask us about it. In this guide, we explain the three visa rules that matter most for parents, children and grandparents.

Here is the short answer. Most visitors need a UAE visit visa, and every family member needs their own. So a family of four means four applications, four passports and four entry dates to plan.

What is on at Dubai Miracle Garden this season?

The garden sits in Al Barsha South 3, across 72,000 square metres, so plan for plenty of walking. According to Gulf News on the Season 15 opening, it shows more than 200 million flowers in over 150 varieties. It opens daily from 9am to 9pm.

This year also brings something new: weekly themed celebrations. The plan includes Diwali, activities during the Dubai Fitness Challenge, Commemoration Day and Eid Al Etihad. Old favourites also return, such as the Emirates A380 made of flowers and the floral castle.

Timing your day matters with children. Khaleej Times' visitor guide suggests weekday mornings for smaller crowds. It also says the hour before sunset gives the best light for photos. Ticket prices are on the garden's own website, so check there before you go.

Which month suits your family best?

An eight-month season gives you choice. However, each month pairs with different events and different booking pressure. This table puts the garden next to the wider UAE calendar, as of 28 October 2026.

Why not apply three months ahead? Because a visa has an entry window, which we explain in Rule 3 below.

The 3 family visa rules we check first

Families send us many questions before a trip like this. But most of them come back to the same three rules. Here they are in the order we check them.

Rule 1: every traveller needs their own visa and passport

There is no single family visa for a holiday. Each person applies separately, and that includes babies. Each passport must also be valid for at least six months, according to the ICP visa issuance conditions.

Children's passports run out faster than adults' passports in many countries. So check every expiry date in the family, not only yours. A child's passport with five months left can stop the whole trip.

Rule 2: girls under 18 travel with their parents

The UAE government tourist visa page says females under 18 cannot apply unless they travel with their parents. This matters for trips where a teenage daughter travels with grandparents, an aunt or a family friend.

If your group looks like that, contact us before you book flights. Then we can tell you what applies to your case.

Rule 3: time your entry window

The ICP conditions say you must enter the UAE within 60 days of the visa's issue date. In other words, an early visa can expire before you even travel. For example, a visa issued today must be used by late December.

ICP also lists valid UAE health insurance and, for most categories, a return ticket. Keep both ready, because you will need them when you apply. One more point: the free summer visa for children runs from 15 July to 15 September. The garden is closed then, so it will not help with this trip.

Which visa fits a garden holiday?

Most families plan a week or two, so a 30-day single-entry visa often fits. Instead, choose 60 days if grandparents will stay longer. Also consider multiple entry if you plan a side trip to Oman or home and back.

Fees depend on nationality and visa type, so see the live prices on our visa fees page. Times vary as well, and our processing times page explains the options. Short on time? Our express visa service is there for late plans.

How do you apply for the whole family?

We are Sky Palace Tourism L.L.C, an independent visa support service in Al Mankhool, Dubai. We are not part of the UAE government, and UAE authorities make every approval decision.

  1. Fill in the online form for each traveller on our Dubai visit visa application page. You do not need to pay to start.
  2. Upload a clear passport copy and photo for each person, including children.
  3. Our team reviews the documents, then you pay through secure online payment.
  4. Track progress on the visa status page, and receive each visa by email.

Each application is reviewed by a person, so a missing child's passport page gets flagged before submission. You can also reach us on WhatsApp at +971 52 681 4645, at any hour.

Family questions about the garden trip

Do children need a separate visa for Dubai?

Yes, each child needs their own visa and passport. This applies to infants too. So upload each child's documents as a separate application.

Is Dubai Miracle Garden open in December?

Yes, Gulf News reports daily opening through the season, which ends on 31 May 2027. Special celebrations are planned around Eid Al Etihad. Check the garden's website for any change on public holidays.

Can grandparents visit on a tourist visa?

Yes, there is no upper age limit on the tourist visa pages we checked. Many grandparents choose 60 days, so they can stay on after the rest of the family. They also need health insurance, as ICP lists it among the conditions.

Which nationality rules apply to us?

Rules differ by passport, and some travellers can also get a visa on arrival. Find yours on our visa requirements by nationality page. Our visa FAQs also answer common family questions.

Ready for the flowers?

Pick your month first, and then count back about four weeks for the visa. That keeps you inside the 60-day entry window, with time to fix any document problem. When your dates are set, start your family's visa application and enjoy Dubai Miracle Garden together this season.
