Apply Dubai Tourist Visa Online: New Option, 4 Easy Ways

Banner explaining the 4 ways to apply Dubai tourist visa online, including the new Visit Dubai option from November 2026

Dubai has a new front door for visitors. On Sunday, 1 November 2026, the city announced a new way to apply Dubai tourist visa online. Soon, tourists can do it on Visit Dubai, the official tourism website. Below, we explain what changes, what stays exactly the same, and how the four routes compare.

The short answer is simple. Visit Dubai becomes one more channel, starting this month. However, GDRFA Dubai still checks every application and issues every visa. So the documents you need and the visa types on offer have not changed, as of 2 November 2026.

What did Dubai announce on 1 November?

The announcement came from Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. He approved two measures to grow tourism, and both are due in November 2026. Both also aim to bring more visitors back for a second and third trip.

The first is the visa service. Tourists will be able to apply for single-entry and multiple-entry tourist visas on the Visit Dubai website. That is the same site people already use for attractions, event tickets and trip ideas. So planning and paperwork will sit in one place. Khaleej Times reported that GDRFA Dubai will keep assessing and issuing the visas.

The second is the Dubai Access Club. It is an invitation-only membership for repeat visitors, with special experiences and benefits around the city. Dubai calls it the first city-wide tourism loyalty programme of its kind.

The work is part of a plan to bring government services onto shared digital platforms. Arabian Business named the partners as GDRFA Dubai, the Department of Economy and Tourism, and Digital Dubai. More visa categories are planned later.

One detail is still missing, however. As of today, no exact start date has been published for the new visa service. So if you see a website claiming it has been open "for weeks", be careful.

Does the new channel change the visa rules?

No. The channel is new, but the decision-maker is not. In fact, the head of GDRFA Dubai spoke of joining services into a single digital journey. Because GDRFA Dubai still reviews each file, a weak application stays weak on any website.

The tourist visas themselves stay the same as well. There are 30-day and 60-day visas, each in single-entry or multiple-entry form. The Visit Dubai site also lists a five-year multiple-entry visa.

Some travellers need no pre-arranged visa at all. For example, citizens of more than 80 countries can get a visa on arrival, and GCC nationals enter without one. The UAE government tourist visa page sets out the general rules. You can also check your own passport on our visa requirements by nationality page.

So who is this news for? Mainly travellers from countries that must arrange a visa before flying. That includes most of our readers in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, the Philippines, Nigeria and Egypt.

4 ways to apply Dubai tourist visa online, compared

After this month, a traveller who needs a visa will have four online routes. Travellers often ask us which one is "the real one". The answer is that all four are real. All four lead to the same GDRFA Dubai decision. The difference is how much help you get along the way.

RouteWho runs itBest suited toKeep in mind

1. Government channelsUAE immigration authoritiesConfident applicants who know the formsYou handle every field and upload alone
2. Visit Dubai website (new)Dubai tourism, with GDRFA Dubai decidingTravellers planning tickets and attractions in one placeDue in November 2026; start date not yet given
3. Airlines such as Emirates and flydubaiThe airlinePeople already flying with that airlineUsually linked to a booking with that carrier
4. Authorised agencies, such as our teamPrivate visa servicesFirst-time visitors and families who want papers checkedChoose a real company with a real address

No route is a shortcut to approval. Instead, think of them as different levels of support for the same application.

Which route suits your trip?

You have travelled before and your papers are ready

Any channel can work for you. Pick the one you find easiest, then apply early, because November and December are busy travel months. A clear passport copy and a plain photo will matter more than the website you choose.

It is your first trip, or you are applying for a family

This is where we see most problems. A child's passport is near expiry, or a photo has a busy background. These small errors lead to delays, so a document check before submission is worth having. Families also need a separate visa for every child, which people often forget. Our team reviews every file before it goes to the authorities.

You fly within days

Do not wait for a new platform to open. The launch day is not fixed yet, and your flight is. If time is short, look at our express visa option. Then check current timings on the processing times page.

Three mistakes we expect this month

Big visa news always brings confusion, because people hear half the story on social media. Here is what our office in Al Mankhool is already watching for.

Trusting a look-alike website

New services attract copycats. Some sites will borrow the Visit Dubai name to look official. Type the address yourself, and be wary of any page that guarantees approval, because no one can promise that.

Applying twice through two channels

Some travellers start an application in one place, then try a second route "to be safe". That can mean paying twice and mixing up two files. Choose one route and finish it. Then, if something is unclear, ask that same channel for help instead of starting again.

Assuming the new site means new paperwork

It does not, at least for now, because the authority behind the decision is the same. The same visa types and the same GDRFA Dubai checks apply. In short, prepare your documents exactly as you would have last month.

How to apply with our team in 4 steps

We are SKY PALACE TOURISM L.L.C, an independent visa support service in Al Mankhool, Dubai. We are not part of the UAE government. Our job is to prepare your file properly and stay with you until the decision arrives.

  1. Fill in the form on our online visa application page. You do not pay anything to start.
  2. Upload your passport copy and photo. Our team then reviews them and asks for fixes if needed.
  3. Pay securely online once your file is ready. Current prices depend on nationality, so see the visa fees page.
  4. Track your status online and receive your visa by email. If your visa is declined, our money-back guarantee applies.

Questions at midnight? Our WhatsApp line, +971 52 681 4645, is open 24/7.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Visit Dubai visa service live yet?

Not as of 2 November 2026, as far as published reports show. The service is due to start in November, but no exact date has been announced. Until then, the existing channels work as before.

Will a visa from Visit Dubai be different from other visas?

No, it should be the same visa. GDRFA Dubai assesses and issues it, whichever channel you use. Prices and timings can still vary, so compare before paying. Also check what support each channel gives if a document is rejected.

Can I join the Dubai Access Club?

Not yet, because it is invitation-only and the entry rules have not been published. It is aimed at repeat visitors. We will share details once Dubai releases them.

How do I check my visa after applying?

If you applied with us, use our visa status checker with your reference number. For other questions, our visa FAQs cover the common ones.
